learn moreNew Generation Jazz are proud to present our emerging artists showcase, with up and coming sensations KNATS playing their trademark killer fusion of club beats with jazz, and the unique musicianship, incredible vocals and potent lyricism of ALLYSHA JOY Knats is a quintet led by two lifelong best mates from Newcastle Upon Tyne, Stan Woodward (Bass) and King David-Ike Elechi (Drums), alongside their younger sidekick and virtuoso Trumpeter, Ferg Kilsby, making Geordie Jazz with sophisticated arrangements, strong melodies and danceable grooves. Allysha Joy has made waves as 30/70s lead vocalist, and in her own right, as an incredibly powerful live performer with her music arching across jazz, soul, broken beat, and R&B with her unique inimitable Australian sound. Both artists are breaking through with massive support on radio and streaming and an ever-growing army of fans for their dynamic powerful live shows. It’ll be a party like no other!
